Stephen Marcellino
Steve is the founder and President of the Minutemen Athletic Club, Inc. Steve has been active in non profit and charitable activities for all of his professional career. He has had a distinguished career in athletics and education as well practicing law as a senior partner in a major international law firm.
Kristen Kilkenny
Kristen is the secretary/treasurer, organizational genius and financial wizard of the MAC. She is an accomplished professional who assists in running a substantial business. This organization's growth and structure has been a direct result of her expertise. She has been with the Minutemen for 9 years. Kristen also handles practice scheduling, tournament responsibilities, uniforms and all other administrative tasks.
Rob Kilkenny
Rob has been a board member for the past three years and serves as Tournament Site Director for the Minutemen Invitational Tournament. He is responsible for mentoring our student athletes and providing guidance to all of our student athletes, particularly those who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Tom Brown
Tom has been with the Minutemen for over 17 years, both as a board member and in charge of the High School Division. Tom has brought many Minutemen teams to the National Championships as a coach for the 10th and 11th grades. Tom was the Athletic Director at Keio Academy where he brought their school to a state championship in soccer and established one of the best regarded athletic programs in Westchester County. He has served as Assistant basketball coach at Sacred Heart High School helping bring them to the championship game in the ultra competitive CHSAA. He rejuvenated the Gorton High School basketball program winning the Yonkers City Championship in 2013 and League Championship. Tom now heads the Minutemen's International Division while working in athletics in the American University School of Kuwait. Tom is organizing the Minutemen's International competition and will be arranging for international students to become a part of the Minutemen's teams, here in NY. The Minutemen International teams will also be coming to the US to compete in the national championships.

Andre Pennicooke
Andre attended Cardinal Spellman High School where is played on the J.V. and Varsity basketball team. Andre graduated from Iona College and played on the intramural travel team as an undergrad. He has coached the Iona College club team and was the head coach for the travel teams. He led the program to the National Championships for the Juniors and developed many players who are now competing at colleges across the country. Andre assisted a many camps and clinics, including the Derrick Dunlap Basketball Camp and Keep Youth Dreams Alive
In Memory of Michael Cola
Mike was the Treasurer and one of the original directors of the MAC. He had been responsible for the financial organization and stability of the organization since its inception. Mike was involved in many not for profit endeavours. He was also the President of an international electronics distributor in Westchester. We miss him deeply but are happy to report that his son Ryan, a graduate of our program is now coaching with us.

Anthony Gaines
Licensed School Social Worker from 2000 - present, Anthony graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College, where he played basketball from 1985-1989. He was on the 1986 Final Four Team and 1988 39-2 team that set the record for the most wins in NYS. Anthony played semi-pro basketball in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic from 1990-1993 and played for the Harlem Globetrotters in 1989. Anthony is currently the Varsity Basketball Coach at Clark Academy, where he has coached since 2006. He has been coaching the Minutemen for 7 years and is a very important part of our program. Anthony has helped the Minutemen to reach out to his students at Clark Academy. Anthony coaches in our high school division.
In Memory of Kareem Smith
Kareem served for over 9 years with the Minutemen and assisted in our high school program. Kareem was known for his volunteer work with the young men at the Boys and Girls club in the Bronx. Along with that, Kareem had coached JV boys basketball at Sacred Heart high school in Yonkers and worked for the Fordham University women's basketball team. At the time of his passing he was the JV boys basketball coach at Cardinall Spellman High School. Kareem left an indelible mark on everyone he worked with and is deeply missed. Read more
Robert Paul
Bob is an excellent professor of the intricacies of the game, both offensively and defensively, having coached for many years in Brooklyn and Long Island. His teaching skills have been passed on to his son Bobby who coaches at Chaminade High School and CW POST and Timothy, an assistant coach at Canisus. Bob's son Thomas played at Adelphi University, a nationally ranked Division II powerhouse and is now an assistant coach there.

Silvio DiSalvatore
This is Silvio's 10th year coaching with the Minutemen. Silvio played Varsity basketball at Iona Prep. He is a graduate of Iona College, where he received his bachelors degree in math education. Silvio is currently the assistant football coach for the Eastchester J.V. team and the Head Coach for the Somers JV Basketball Team. Silvio currently coaches one of our 9th grade teams and is actively involved with the administrative duties at the Minutemen.

Rob Kilkenny
Rob will be assisting on both the grammar school and High school divisions. Rob has been with the Minutemen for 8 years and has a wealth of experience in amateur youth sports. He has coached both his boys through CYO and the high school AAU level. Rob is a wonderful role model for our boys teams. He is working closely with Anthony Gaines on the mentoring program.

Barry Barefoot
Barry is coaching one of our 11th grade teams. He has been coaching basketball for 15 years. Coaching duties included both boys and girls 5th-8th grade cyo teams as well as Harrison's Rec boys & girls all star teams that regularly play at the County Center. Barry was the athletic director at St Anthony of Padua for 4 years, winning the CYO championship there last season. In addition, Barry has coached high school age AAU teams. He is in his 9th year with the Minutemen Athletic Club.

Duane Fiedler
This is Duane's 12th year with the MAC. He is a coach for the PSAL and the JV coach at Mott Haven in the Bronx. A well recognized figure in youth athletics in lower Westchester County, Duane is working with one of our 9th grade teams this year. Duane has two sons who participated with the Minutemen Athletic Club. Duane has been a great supporter of the MAC for years.

Tom Westmoreland
Tom will be coaching the 11th grade girls team this year. This is his 8th year with the Minutemen. Last year's 10th grade team had a very successful season, including two tournament championships and a nine game winning streak to end the season.

Jim Philips
Jim has been associated with the St. Eugene's CYO Basketball program for the past fourteen years coaching girls teams from 3rd grade through 8th grade. Two of his former players currently are playing on the Ursuline High School varsity teams. Jim and Tom Westmoreland are currently coaching the Minutemen's 11th grade girls team.

Andy Nathan
Andy has been an active youth coach in Westchester for the past 15 years, bringing a strong background in the development of both individual fundamental skills, team-based offenses and defenses and game time strategies. Andy stresses success through a truly team-oriented philosophy. He has been a great role model to his players and is a valuable member of the Minutemen program.
Mike Marcellino
A starter from the Minutemen class of 2007 which finished in the Final Four in the national HS Championships, Mike is a political science honors graduate of Iona College. He will be coaching at the Grammar School level while pursuing his MBA. Mike coaches the JV at Sacred Heart High School.
Brian Kilkenny
Brian played J.V. and Varsity basketball at Iona Prep. He also played for the Minutemen for his four years of high school. Brian graduated from the University of Tampa and currently runs the Minutemen Adult League and will be coaching the high school level. Brian is actively involved with the administration of the Minutemen as well as coaching.

Gregory Adams
Gregory is the coach of our 11th division. Currently the junior varsity elementary basketball coach at Sacred Heart Also is an official for varsity basketball, baseball and football for the last 7 years. He has been an integral part of the Minutemen for over 12 years.

Spencer Boateng
Spencer is a senior at Iona College. He is the assistant coach for the Iona College club team. Spencer has assisted at Salesian High School, Andre Barret Skills Academy and Iona College Basketball Camp. He also coaches a summer basketball clinic. Spencer played at Salesian High School. He played on the Freshman team, Junior Varsity, then Varsity his Junior and Senior years of high school. As a member of Varsity he was apart of a CHSAA 'B' City and State Championship. The team was also runner-ups in the Federation tournament. Spencer also played at Iona College during the 2013-2014 season. He won the MAAC championship and clinched a birth to the NCAA tournament.

John Rapaport
For 23 years, John Rapaport has been a varsity head and assistant coach at five NYS Section 1 area high schools, and is currently an assistant coach at Woodlands HS in Greenburgh. During this time, he was the Head Coach of the Hudson Valley Empire State Games Boys Scholastic team, medaling in Syracuse at the 25th Anniversary Games in 2002. In 2014-’15, he was the Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach at Purchase College-State University of New York.

Rion Mahabal
Coach Rion has over 5 years of coaching basketball from the ages of 10 to 18. He coached the 16U Minutemen in 2018. They won the Hoop Heaven tournament in NJ. They also went down to Orlando, Florida for the Nationals and played against 19U. Coach Rion believes communication is key and he does his best to be aware of who his players are. What works for one might not work for another so he tries to use the right communication in finding ways to motivate his players. Teamwork is key. He does hope to build relationships with the players that he coaches as well as prepare them for the next level of basketball.

Brendan O Shea
Former 4 year starter and all league player at Harrison. Coaches the Bronxville Modified Boys team, and led them to a 17-4 record over the past two seasons. Also coaches at Fenom Fire at their 2nd grade in house league and off site lessons. Have previously coached at Next Level Boys Camp and Harrison Basketball Camp. Continue to play today in various men’s leagues.
Francisco Rivera – New Paltz St./Gettysburgh University
Head Coach: Lehman High School Boys Basketball Coach Rivera played college basketball at Gettysburg University and at SUNY New Paltz. He has over 25 years of extensive experience coaching basketball which includes Boys Club of New York, Kennedy Center, AAU Basketball, Harlem Avengers, RJS winning many titles in the process. Coach Rivera is currently the Varsity Head Basketball Coach for Lehman High School Boys team. Coach Rivera has his Masters in Education.

Mike McDonnell
Mike McDonnell just finished his 6th season as head coach of Putnam Valley HS where he has led the program to a 102-32 record, 5 league titles, 4 County Center Appearances and 2 Sectional finals. He is now just 18 games shy of 300 career wins. Prior to that he spent 5 years as the head coach of Sacred Heart HS rebuilding the program working hand in hand with Coach Marcellino. Coach McDonnell also led the Hudson Valley Empire State College Team to a Gold and two Silver Medals. He is married and a father of three girls. Brother Dan McDonnell is the head coach of Louisville University Baseball and this summer’s Team USA head coach.Quote: “ I have placed many of my Putnam Valley players in The Minutemen AAU program because I believe the players get the very best coaching and Coach Marcellino and the people he surrounds himself with are people of character and integrity.”

Ozzie Garcia
Graduated from Kennedy HS (2009). Studied Accounting at Long Island U.-CW Post, where he playing collegiate football. Started coaching Basketball at Kips Bay Boys & Girls Center 10 year old level boys team. Coached for RJS Avengers 12u boys team. Currently coach on the Lehman HS Varsity Basketball Team.
